The new CORPORATE MANSLAUGHTER ACT 2007 has been extended to include company car drivers. This means that employers of company car drivers can be prosecuted if their employee has a car accident.

Health and Safety at Work regulations also places a legal requirement on employers of 5 or more people to assess the risks in the workplace.

For company car drivers the workplace is often their cars.

Our training looks at safe driving techniques using a variety of methods including techniques in the Police manual ‘Roadcraft’ and speed awareness practices. Our drivers are trained to ‘Think’ making them aware of their own driving and the actions of other road users

We have extensive experience of managing occupational road risk for company car drivers. All our Instructors have been specially trained in this and all have gained the DSA Fleet Trainer Qualification.

ROSPA have identified that 40% of all company car drivers are more likely to be involved in an accident.

The Association of British Insurers (ABI) state that 65% of all company vehicles are involved in an accident every 12 months.
